QR-Hub

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about QR-Hub and QR codes.

Are QR Codes free?
Yes! QR-Hub allows you to generate QR codes completely free of charge. You can create QR codes for URLs, vCards, WiFi, email, SMS, and social media profiles without any cost.
Can I use the generated QR Codes for commercial purposes?
Absolutely. QR codes generated through QR-Hub can be used for both personal and commercial purposes. You are free to use them on product packaging, marketing materials, business cards, and more.
What kind of information can be stored in a QR Code?
QR-Hub supports a wide variety of data types including Text/URLs, VCard contact details, Email addresses, SMS messages, WiFi credentials, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram profile links, PDF file links, MP3 links, and App Store links.
Is it possible to count the QR Code scans (tracking, analytics, measuring)?
Scan tracking and analytics are available on select plan tiers. Static QR codes do not support tracking by default. For tracking, we recommend using a dynamic QR code with a URL shortener that provides scan analytics.
How long are QR Codes valid for? Do they expire?
Static QR codes generated by QR-Hub never expire. They will work as long as the destination URL or data they contain remains valid. Dynamic QR codes may have different rules depending on the plan.
What does Static and Dynamic QR Code mean?
A Static QR Code has fixed data embedded directly in it — once created, the content cannot be changed. A Dynamic QR Code points to a short URL that can be updated at any time, allowing you to change the destination without reprinting the code.
How do I manage QR Codes with QR-Hub?
After logging in to your QR-Hub account, you can generate, customize (add logos, frames, colors, shapes), and download your QR codes in PNG format directly from the dashboard.
Can I add a logo to my QR Code?
Yes! QR-Hub supports logo embedding inside QR codes. Simply click the LOGO button in the preview panel after generating your QR code, and upload any image file. You can also remove it at any time.
What QR Code customization options are available?
QR-Hub offers several customization options: QR size, QR color, background color, dot shapes (Square, Rounded, Circle), frames (Border, Rounded, Shadow, Double, Dashed, Glow), custom logo upload, and a "Scan Me" text label with font selection.
What format can I download the QR Code in?
QR codes can be downloaded as high-resolution PNG files. You can set a custom pixel size (up to 1000px) before downloading to ensure your QR code is print-ready.
Is my data secure when using QR-Hub?
Yes. QR-Hub processes your QR code data locally in the browser. We do not store the content you embed in your QR codes on our servers unless you explicitly save them to your account.
